Dear Member,

At the end of last year, I wrote you to confirm your contact information and request your email address as our organization has converted our administration to a web-based software system.  This has been a major undertaking and has taken longer than we anticipated.  The system is now up and running and our apologies for the time it has taken.  I wish to thank all of you that have logged on and paid your dues.  For those that have not yet paid this year’s dues, we are enclosing a renewal form and return envelope.  You can either send in the form or please log into the system to update your profile and pay your dues.  Instructions for logging into the system can be found at www.itapo.org.  Should you need any assistance, feel free to call us at the number below.  Please help us keep our organization strong and vibrant by renewing your membership.  On the form, please indicate your email address so in the future we can contact you by email.  This helps our association save vital funds on expensive mailings which we can then spend on promoting our mission.  If you do not have email, we will continue to reach out to you by U.S. Mail.
We are planning to hold our Annual Banquet on November 19, 2016.  Please hold the date as we expect this to be an outstanding event.  This will be our 48th annual banquet and hope you can attend.  We are planning on honoring Larry Lucchino, President of the Boston Red Sox and Chairman of the Jimmy Fund, as our St. Michael’s recipient.  We are honored to be able to award former Navy Seal Glen Doherty, who was killed in action at the Benghazi Attack, with our Medal of Honor.  Glen’s family and several of his friends in service to our country will be there as well.  Other members of law enforcement will also be acknowledged at the event.  Of great significance, we also plan to honor M. Michael Giacoppo with a Life-Time Achievement Award for his decades of service to our Association, Law Enforcement as well as specifically the Italian American Law Enforcement community.

Please take a moment to register for our banquet and renew your dues if you have not already done so.  In addition, please visit our newly updated website at www.itapo.org for information on our organization and upcoming events.

Thank you again for your support and on behalf of the Board of Directors and myself, we hope to see you on November 19th

Stay Safe!

Sincerely yours,

Martin Gabriella, Middlesex Sheriff’s Office (Ret.)
