MAITAPO: What we do

• Provide a Fraternal organization dedicated to our shared Italian American heritage and shared profession in a social setting
• Honoring and recognizing the outstanding achievements of our fellow Italian American Law Enforcement Officers and other non-sworn individuals for their accomplishments
• Provide a network for Law Enforcement Officers to gather and discuss cross departmental issues, news and other networking opportunities
• Remembering those who have passed and paved the way for our present day success
• Provide a $7,500 Accidental Death Insurance policy and $15,000 if "in the line of duty” (included in the annual dues)
• Organize social gatherings with an Italian flare
